When you worship God or look at someone worshipping God, don’t be amazed at the way you/they worship. No matter how deep the words may be, the beauty of worship is The God to whom it is given, not the worshipper.

When you hear deep words, do not be impressed by the worshipper, be amazed by the One that’s described by the words ❤️. Worship is beautiful because of the One who is worshipped.

It’s not about your vocabulary, eloquence or expression. It’s about the glorious beauty of God that you can’t contain and that makes your heart cry in awe of His greatness.

Worship is contemplating God. Let your eyes shed tears because His glory is above understanding and not because you want to impress. Whether you kneel, dance, jump or raise up your hands, do it in Spirit and in truth.

“Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.”

John 4:23 NIV

Do not boast because you can see the glory of God and worship Him. It is not you discovering who God is, It is Him revealing Himself to you. And it is a grace, unmerited favor. Be humble and thank Him for allowing you to see part of His glory.

“Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, And you perish in the way, When His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him.”

Psalms 2:12 NKJV

Do not boast and count all the things that you do for God because you will end up thinking that you’ve reached the highest level and that you give too much to God.

“Also He spoke this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others: “Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, ‘God, I thank You that I am not like other men—extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this tax collector. I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I possess.’ And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me a sinner!’ I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”

Luke 18:9-14 NKJV

Consecration is offering yourself to God as a sign of love and Gratefulness for what He did for you, and as worship because you know He is God and you are nothing without Him. But in everything that you do, remember that it will never be enough because no sacrifice equates the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross. His blood has much more worth than gold, silver and any treasure down on earth.

When you check your life to see how your Consecration is growing, remember it is giving yourself totally to God. Until you become completely His i.e. Him coming down to pick you as the church, you’ll have to give more and more. Consecration is a lifelong sacrifice. It goes on till death. It doesn’t stop and there is no limit to it. You always have to push further.

You always have to decrease so that He may increase, disappear for Him to be seen in you, die to yourself and let Him live through you. Be Christ’s that He may take you wherever He wants without even having to ask you. Let Him be your Master, and become a slave. Just follow what He says, blindly, passionately!

Fall in love with Him, see His Glory in the valley and on the mountain top. See His beauty in stormy winds. See His love in suffering and battles. Let Christ amaze you, captivate you! Be like Stephen who died worshiping the Lord. See His glory in everything.

Be a worshiper ✨

God bless.
