He is The Reason

03rd August – 21st October 2020
There are some things that happen in life, some unfair events…
We get to experience injustice on some days,
We sometimes feel rejected, misunderstood, unfairly treated, used…
Some days seem darker than others
Some other days, our hearts ache more than usual
Sometimes we look back and we wonder:
“Why me?”, “Why did this happen?”
Some things are not logical
Some things do not have an explanation
Sometimes we look for reasons/excuses to ease the pain we feel inside and for telling to ourselves “that’s why! Now that I understand, I will not hurt anymore.”
But sometimes, we just can’t understand
All that happens is not always a result of what we have done, either good or bad
Not everything bad is the consequence of a sin
Sometimes we hurt, we suffer, we’re persecuted, we go through things we do not understand
Sometimes we wonder “Does God love me? Does He see what I’m going through? Does He know about me and my situation? Does He still remember, does He hear me when I cry?”
Sometimes we look around and think we’re totally alone
We look back and it’s dark
We look forward and it’s blurry
We’re not sure of anything
Doubts about who we are today and who God is start to creep in…
Anyway
Not everything has a logical explanation
Some things just happen because the devil is evil
Some things happen just because we’re on earth
It’s true that some situations arise and we feel like the sky is falling on our heads
Yes, it happens
Sometimes you’re the victim
Sometimes you go through injustice
But here is one thing:
Whatever happens to your life, be it logical or not, whether you understand or not, that’s not the problem. In everything, we have to remember that God is good and that He is in control of our lives.
If we breathe, we breathe for Him. If we walk, we walk for Him. If we rejoice, we rejoice for His Glory. If we suffer, we suffer for His Glory. We were created for glorifying Him and for Him alone (Isaiah 43:7).
God is in control of your life and He holds your very breath. You are nothing without Him, I’m nothing without Him but with Him, we can do all things (Philipians 4:13).
Whatever happens is not what matters; your interpretation and response to the situation is what’s more important.
Problems will keep arising
Yes, the sun will keep setting
Light can fade away and the night might seem long to you
There will still be wars on earth
Injustice will keep happening
And so much more
But one thing is important:
All that happens in your sight/presence is there to teach you something. If it doesn’t kill you, it came to make you stronger.
Yes, The Bible says that :
“As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”
Romans 8:36 NKJV
And it also says :
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”
Romans 8:37 NKJV
And also :
“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”
Romans 8:28 NKJV
Nothing is accidental, for every thing that happens there is a purpose behind. You may not get it 🤷🏾♀️; well, leave that to God but keep moving ahead ’cause at the end of the tunnel, there is light. Keep in mind that there is no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1).
You are free to move on, you are free to forgive and forget. You are free to draw the good from what happens to you and throw the bad away. You’re free to turn the page.
