Winning Heaven 🌈🌤

“Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,”

Ephesians 2:19 NKJV

Winning Heaven is impossible.

We don’t deserve it, we can’t work for it. No matter how much we try, we can never afford the price required to get to Heaven. That price is not in dollars, euros or pounds. There is no money, no title, no degree, no expertise, no wisdom or recognition that can take you to Heaven.

There is no friend, no parent, no contact, no authority or public figure that can speak on your behalf or pay for free entrance for you in Heaven. There is no labor, no entry exam, no application form to fill in, no documents to send for being admitted in Heaven.

Why?

Because Heaven is not a hotel, nor a school or institution, not even a workplace. Heaven is not a refugees camp. Heaven is not an orphanage. Heaven is not a public place where everybody and anybody can get in with a free ticket.

Heaven is a Home, a Home whose Host is a Father, a Father that has Children, Children that He knows individually and by name.

“But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.”

John 1:12-13 NKJV

Heaven is not a refuge for those who fear hell, it is a mansion for those who love God and belong to Him. Heaven is a place for those who are born of the Spirit and have the DNA of Christ.

There is more in heaven than just the golden streets and the precious stones and pearls. There is Someone in Heaven, The Owner of Heaven: God The Father, His Son Jesus Christ and The Holy Spirit; The Holy Trinity 🌟.

Getting to heaven is not about escaping hell. Getting to heaven is not about living in a nice place with no sufferings and pain, hunger or strife. Getting to heaven is about living with God, dwelling in His Holy Presence every moment of our lives and worshipping Him for “ETERNITY”.

Some people hate God and all that is Godly but still want to go to Heaven. Some people delight in sins, enjoy the world and are so comfortable in their flesh but still want to get to Heaven. Some don’t want to repent and turn from their wicked ways but still want to get to Heaven. Some find God so boring but they’ll tell you they want to get to Heaven.

Many people fear hell and thus want to get to Heaven for safety’s sake, but if they don’t know God, what will they be doing in Heaven? How can they expect Him to receive them in His Home? How can one even think about dwelling with a Stranger?

““Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’”

Matthew 7:21-23 NKJV

God is not stupid. You can’t cheat Him, you can’t play Him. He knows His Children, He knows who belongs to Him, He knows who are His lovers and who truly worships Him.

“Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.”

Galatians 6:7-8 NKJV

Helping the poor, singing in a choir, paying a visit to the sick at the hospital and the prisoners, paying your tithe and going to church every Sunday are not conditions to fulfill for entering Heaven. But there is indeed one thing that can open the door of Heaven for you.

“that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. […] For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.””

Romans 10:9, 13 NKJV

Knowing God and being known by Him is The Only way of getting to Heaven. Knowing Him not theoretically but intimately as a Friend, as a Father, as a Lover; being known by God, having The Testimony of The Holy Spirit in us is The Only Thing that can get us to heaven.

It is not obtained by works, nor by wisdom. No-one is born with that guarantee, nobody can have it more than others and it’s a right that can’t be stolen to us. Why? Because it’s not a thing, it is an “Identity”.

Who you are to God is what will determine if you’ll get to Heaven or not. The way God sees you is what will determine if you’ll get in or stay out. Your fellowship with The Lord, your exchange with Him, Him knowing you and you knowing Him, is what can give you the boldness to stand before the gates of Heaven with the assurance that they’ll open wide before you.

Jesus Christ is The Only One who can make you step and stay in that place forever. His sacrifice, His blood, His Love for you is The Only Testimony that can get you to Heaven. “Being saved by Him” is the only title that can get you there. His Holy Spirit is The Only Witness who can give you the confidence that you’re already accepted.

Law is the why.

Faith is the because.

Why do we do good works (law)?

Because we are saved (faith).

Salvation comes before serving.

Salvation gives meaning to ministering.

Salvation is what generates works.

Salvation gives life to what we do.

No matter how hard you work or for how long you’ve been in church; The Only way to God is Jesus Christ. Works won’t get you there. Grace and Love will.
