LOVE đź’–

Sometimes love comes in the least expected ways, from the least expected people.
Sometimes, you wake up wondering if your life really makes sense or has any impact, if you are just an extra human being on Earth. Then, God in His surprising ways, sends an angel in human form your way to remind you He wants you here, at this time and for a purpose.
Sometimes we scroll through our inboxes, waiting for "that" someone to text and say those things our hearts crave. And in the least expected ways, from nowhere, with no clue, someone else comes and tells you, "Your life makes a difference in mine, and I want you to know that."
I believe that when God said the greatest command after loving Him was to love our neighbors, He indirectly meant that we were not just meant for Him but for each other. He Himself said it is not good for man to be alone, and He created in us a need for each other.
This post is not about marriage or romantic relationships, but about one of the simplest forms of love we often neglect: kindness 🪻. Funny enough, it's in the first characteristic of love the Bible describes [1 Corinthians 13:4].
One smile, one text, one "Thanks, man," one "We should hang out soon," one hug, one compliment, or one uplifting word can change someone's life and put chaotic thoughts back into place. More than you could imagine, more than you could think.
Remember, you are not meant to be alone. Look around and remember that someone somewhere is touched by your presence. Think, and you will realize you're not just a number in the world's statistics. Remember, life is not just about you and your happiness but about the people around you. Life is you and I, them, and all of us together, united to praise and honor our Creator. "For there the Lord bestows his blessing, even life forevermore." [Psalms 133:3 NIV]
Love your friends, love your family, love your colleagues, love your neighbors, love strangers, and your life will make more sense. Because of this, you will more closely resemble your Creator, who made you in His image: LOVE.
